In your journey to excel as a musician, you’ll come across many ‘evils’ who would love to finger test you with their ego pins.
They could test you with your opinion about a song. Knowing that you’re a fresher, you’d be asked for your opinion on a song that you’re recording there, or any other random song, and you’ll be dragged into a ‘debate’. You’d fly high because you feel you’re striking a chord with these guys by sharing your opinion. Wrong.
The moment you open your mouth and share your opinion, you’re tamed. Just like that moment on NGC when a lion bites into the weakest spot of the deer, feasts on it, and shares the prey with fellow lions, hyenas, and vultures. Who would want to miss that crack of a moment?
Avoid getting into discussions with what would be a cynic, sarcastic, and depressingly destructive session. Get into the studio, meet, greet, thank, and move out.
Your opinion does not really matter (as a fresher, that is).
