Ask for help when you’re confused, down, and forgotten, or ask for guidance and advice when you are en route to a hilltop.
You could be a big established music producer, singer, or musician, and have the world of hype engulfing you. Now, you desperately need help, but your pride won’t allow you to ask for it.
The inflated ego within you will swell your chest with pride, which will repeatedly put you in a troubled spot for a long time. Even those who are just starting out in music are often filled with “double shot pride,” riding on some social media likes and comments.
Everyone has a low point, and these days the lows keep coming—often. In this “low point” plus “troubled spot,” simply deflate that ego, swallow your pride, and ask for help. You’ll hesitate, and as you make the call for help or advice, you might also want to quash the hype surrounding you. That’ll make it easier for both you and others. It’ll do a world of good for you.
If it’s against your ethics, the easiest way is to keep yourself grounded. It might not give you the high, but when you fall, it won’t hurt either.
