In the recent past, I came across two extremely promising creative individuals who had great potential with their heads docked in the right place. One, an actress (A), and the other, a musician (M).

All the goodness in them got washed away once they got into a project.

They changed with the hype around it and loved the taste of the blood of ‘success’ after they were pushed to the extreme corner of their lives with a perplexed and puzzled future ahead of them.

The people whom they considered enemies or negative elements, and held responsible for rubbing them on the wrong side, are now the best of friends. ‘Friends’ who have planted the seeds of addiction for the dope of hype, fake appreciation, and ‘return favours’ – all part of the dark side of movies and music.

Both A and M have negated the good things/elements that got them to this level, cut off connections from the world that made them, and plucked out folks who helped them, taught them, and loved them.

Their ways, whereabouts, and behaviors changed – all for the bad – with just one project.

This is the prelude to the story you get to read in all those write-ups and biographies of good actors, musicians, and artists who were known for their creativity once – and are now eccentric addicts.

It is sad to see both A and M walking the wrong line, the wrong side of their careers and their lives.

And here’s the best part – in the press, A and M will be portrayed as icons for now, only to be turned into demons by the same press when A and M whiz out a smack of public eccentricity.

Wishing them to get back to where they were. — Both M and A do not know each other and have nothing in common. The identities of A and M will remain as is. —
