The goal here is to create an environment where you can create extraordinary experiences. These experiences can transform you. These methods can be applied in almost everything you do.

I started using this method for my daughter a few years ago. I wanted her to learn and experience things differently. My goal was to help her reflect differently.

For books, I buy books on completely unrelated topics—some topics do not interest her. As a result of these books being there, she ends up referring to them and connecting the dots to make sense of something new that she is learning. Her speed reading has improved because of this.

I didn’t want to force her to become a musician. I put a piano in my music room, installed some music apps on my iPad, and played random K-pop acoustic music. Because she was not pressured when she discovered she could play or sing, she spent hours perfecting her skill. With her self-taught skills, she’s able to sing almost pitch-perfect and compose full-length songs.

Using art tools and resources ‘placed’ around her, she has been able to master 10 different styles of painting. She now has her own style and genre of mystical painting.

Her art, music, and books are a fusion of what she’s experienced. Her remarkable experiences were enabled by creating an environment that supported her.

You need to be mindful when creating remarkable experiences. You have to work hard to mix things up in such a way that it is a puzzle. As with any game, one has to figure out what their mission is and what the rules are. Set up a random collection of things you find interesting around you. Each day, you must learn and create something new within a certain amount of time. Expand your horizons by learning from these new experiences.

Why this works is that you are not fed anything here. Creating the dots, putting them together, and making sense of them makes you think deeply. You gain a tremendous amount of wisdom and insights from this crafted experience. Here, you have to learn how to learn. As a result, you learn new things quickly, and it stays with you forever. The knowledge you gain from that experience can be applied to the most common or complex problems in your everyday life.
