When we buy something new, we have the tendency to discard the old. The shine and excitement of owning the new fade the old into oblivion. Most of the time, we easily devalue the old and dispose of it right away or hand it over to someone to get it out of our sight.

Next time, consider holding on to the ‘old,’ preserving it, protecting it, and securing it. You’ll come across someone needy who will put it to best use, or you might want to get back to it — just for nostalgia.

The old will always put a smile on your face when least expected. The old will take you back to an era and make you relive the best.
