When you’re challenged and pushed to extremity, give it a good fight, and fight with all your strength. But do it with grace.
Be patient, hear, ponder, and introspect. Empower your words, actions, and emotions with grace; be polite even if you disagree, be modest in your victories, and accept your failures with humility. Never lose your cool or your character to hasty, loud, and instinctive reactions, which most of the time are harmful.
Step back.
Breathe.
Calm your inner self, and then whatever you do or say, do it with grace.
