Every other person you know is in music (or rather is doing the thing that she always wanted to do).

It’s much easier to achieve anything today – fast.

You learn a few notes, buy a keyboard, post a classified, meet up with musicians, make music, name a band, create a Facebook page, debut in a gig, get a kick, record a couple of tracks, and shove it into festivals and competitions around the world – let’s say Finland; you’d want to travel there to play a gig. You’d require votes; you’d plead with the world you know to vote. And the person you’ve been banking on for that ‘precious’ vote has already voted for someone else moments before your request hit her inbox.

The world moves faster than you realize and seeks more popularity than you can imagine.

So making music for some random clicks, likes, and votes by people who might just want to do it as an obligation will not lead your band and your music anywhere.

The world is getting smaller, smarter, faster.
