A shift in perspective is a must for creative people like us. We need to shatter the regular, break the ideals, and dethrone our idols. A cleansing of your current system of thoughts is required for you to think from zero.

Perspectives about people, life, and other things—‘good’ and ‘bad’—have always been imposed on us right from our childhood. We presume and assume people, life, and situations casually. At the same time, we overdo and overthink normal experiences and situations. All of that jumbles up our vision, ideas, thoughts, and perspective.

So, for that new perspective, here’s what you could do: go watch a B-grade movie, listen to the artist you hate, eat things you haven’t eaten, walk where you would drive, and sleep when you’re supposed to be working. All such things that one may call ‘crazy – stupid – foolish’ may be done once when perspective has screwed you.

It’s that tit-for-tat moment where you have to screw the perspective back—let it know you’re not to be taken for granted, and that it will behave exactly the way you want it to.
