How do I break unproductive habits and routines?

Replace, don’t remove. Every habit fills a need - stress, boredom, dopamine. Remove it cold-turkey and the need finds something worse. Replace it with a better habit that scratches the same itch. Scrolling → walking. Snacking → water. Substitution beats suppression.
