How to maintain good health can be boiled down to 2 main sections. - Your mental health. - Your physical health. The most important aspect of living a healthy lifestyle is mastering your emotional health.

If you want to get the most out of your life here, you must stay focused, calm, and mindful. 

You’ve to feel great, to do good. 

Your brain causes most of the misery

Let's understand why you are here.

I assume you're here because you're overwhelmed, stressed, and in need of solutions to reduce the choking effect of emotional turmoil. Your mind is largely responsible for what you are experiencing right now. And your mind is your fictitious character created by your brain. So in short your brain controls the mind. 

Well let me tell you something about these problems:  

1) they have little power over us if we stop saying "yes" all day long 

2) It is impossible to improve your health by doing many random things inconsistently.

Understand this.

Brain is the only thing you can actually pull off your body, and touch and feel. It’s a tangible thing. Whereas your mind is a fictitious character created by your brain that projects everything you feel. 


Get this right - Your brain controls everything. 

You control your brain, you control your mind, 

You control your mind, you control your mental and emotional health. 

So the brain is the root cause of most miseries. 

And your brain can help you build good health too.

Think about it.

All actions you have taken today until now are signalled by your brain.

All thoughts that have occurred today have been projected to you by your brain.

In addition, your brain is also responsible for you wanting to leave this state of misery.

In other words, you can program your brain to do whatever you want.

Without it, you would not be here looking for a solution.

There is no magic pill.

There is no single formula or solution here to get into good health.

Your only role is to understand the basic concepts of your existence and act positively in order to improve upon what you have.


To feel empowered and inspired, all you need to do is to be present and to take action with the knowledge of how to program your mind.

As simple as it sounds this is very tough to execute.

If you are stuck in your old ways of thinking, programming your mind can be difficult.

In order to uproot yourself from your old beliefs, you must starve yourself.

No, literally starve yourself. 

Starve your rigid mind or brain of all the regular crap it is used to.

Confuse your brain, then reset it and feed it with the right information so that it works the way you want it to.

If you discard that bullshit baggage you've been carrying, then I know you can do it.

Here are the 5 steps that can help you begin to maintain good health.

1. Intermittent Fasting  

Unless you have a serious medical condition, you should consider intermittent fasting.

You will never be the same. Exactly how?

As I explained to my dad once, 

Long-term fasting allows your body to heal by giving your internal organs time and space. Healing comes naturally to your body.
You keep it working for almost 18 hours a day with food, which is why it finds healing hard. With all the low nutrition junk and random foods you eat, your body has to work hard to process out the waste and find the little nutritional value in them.
During the night time, the internal organs are worse since the majority of food is consumed and within minutes most are off to bed, which leaves little time for the body to heal itself.

So you need to assist your body in healing itself. Infact, fasting activates autophagy which is proven to be natural care for certain cancers.

To achieve this healing, don't put any food into your body. It's simple - skip meals.

Fasting will not kill you. You will be fine, in fact, you will do well. 

Fasting is not just skipping meals, it is also the most healthy diet you could ever follow. Fasting has profound health benefits and has transformed many lives.

2. Cut down Gluten, Carbs and Sugar for a healthy diet

The food you love almost becomes poisonous when eaten in large quantities.

The root cause of inflammation and gut problems is gluten-loaded whole grains such as wheat, maida, corn, etc. These grain based flours are the ones that are the base of most junk food you get.

Any and all types of carbs spike your insulin and make you sluggish and tired.

You end up drinking sugary drinks, sodas, juices to cope with that, which then worsens

your health.

So the warts on your shoulders, the growth under your eyebrows, the pimples on your face, and the boils on your back can all be traced back to the kind of food you consume. It's mostly carbohydrates, gluten, and sugar that are to blame. Avoid it at all costs to avoid chronic diseases. Cutting down these life suckers are a natural remedy for stress management.

Have a low carb diet. It simply means have less carbs. Have more greens, lean meats and some healthy fats.

The biggest reasons for heart disease in people are the eating of high amounts of processed foods, fast food, trans fats, lack of physical activity, smoking and alcohol consumption. Add to that unregulated high blood sugar levels, high blood pressure ensures you are on the verge of a complete physical breakdown.


3. Movement for a great physical health

Now that you have done the tough part of cutting down your food intake, your body is ready to experience some movement. 

The key to losing weight is all about motion and physical exercise.

It's time for you to get up and start moving! You can work out, do yoga or other stretches - anything that gets your body going. The point isn't just the exercise itself but doing it consistently every day so it becomes a habit rather than an occasional chore. I started with 5 pushups daily and now I'm at 60 in one round without stopping.

Do whatever you like. Physical wellness is key for healthy weight gain and maintaining good health. 

Do yoga, stretches, surya namaskar, taichi, zumba, dance - anything. Just move your body and do it till you sweat and feel the pain. The key here is to do it consistently. I started with 5 pushups daily and now do 60 pushups non-stop in one round. 

Moving your body is the simplest way to keep yourself agile and strong.

4. Meditation for healthy lifestyle

Now for the boring stuff that can transform your life: meditation.

You already know this. You know what it is, you've read about it.

You also know all the excuses you have for not doing it.

Now is the time to ditch your excuses, and begin your meditation journey.

Meditation is simply sitting quietly in one place. 

You will find that your mind begins to wander, trying to distract you to break the silence.

Your job is to sit there and calm it down.

Play some deep ambient music, listen to mantras, or focus on your breathing.

Regardless of the method, you must conquer your brain.

Get it to sit quietly.

It will be tough in the beginning, but as you develop these habits your brain starts to obey you. 

As soon as it aligns with what you want, you can feel the difference in your present.

The practice of meditation will calm your anxiety, stress, and continuous overwhelm, and allow you to be more reflecting and able to focus. You will feel this way for days, weeks, and months to come.

5. Journaling

If you add journaling to this entire journey, you will be unstoppable in your quest to uplift your body, mind, and soul.

Journaling is nothing more than recording your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Forget all the writing methods and structures.

Write just to clear your mind.

Write down the things you are grateful for.

Identify the things that help you live and breathe right now. 

We often forget the simplest things in our lives because we take them for granted.

Write down your thoughts and feelings as you observe them. 

You will see yourself as a brand new person over the next few weeks as a result of journaling. 

In addition, you will understand the true meaning of abundance. 

Stop fooling yourself

The key here is to follow these steps every day and to stick to them.

No excuses are acceptable.

If you lose one day, you lose momentum. 

You lose motivation when you lose momentum.

The "I'll do it tomorrow" mindset kicks in.

It's your demonic mind that keeps you from achieving your goals. 

The rest is downhill from there.

Then a few months later when you are even more stressed, you will hunt for another article, read a few articles that rank on page one of google and get overwhelmed all over again.
