Bejoy Nambiar
Bejoy Nambiar is the uberkewl, technically brilliant filmmaker and the director of the 2011 cult Bollywood film ‘Shaitan’.
Bejoy is the reason I’m scoring music for films. Thanks to him for finding me over the internet, and letting me score for his debut short feature – Rahu, for which I teamed up with up with my friend Krishnan.
He’s been this eccentric force of energy and with his creative abundance has made me look at my music differently. The ones(music/tracks) I hate is the ones he loves. And the ones he loves, are the ones I hate, but in the end – Love it ! His ear for music is not any common, its only when you see your work on screen that you realize how deeply, madly and greatly his brilliance has put together a masterpiece.
Bejoy constantly suprises me with his demands for tracks that challenges the whole regular boiler soundscape history of Hindi Cinema, or may I say, Indian cinema. Await some faboulous productions for this guy also called ‘cult’.
