Rajendra Vallury
Rajendra Vallury was the first free style guitarist I ever recorded way back in 2007 for the score of Rahu. He loves Indian Classical and Jazz and Blues, and has a very distinct playing style. A biggie, he has learnt from Chintu Sin gh, and toured with Hariharan, and now plays with Shriram’s Folk-fusion band ‘Filter Coffee’
Rajendra/Raju adds that unique tone to the compositions with his playing style, that makes the track a fresh yield. I always make a point to record him first and layer other instruments over it, just for the flavour his playing adds in.
